I know in recent macos this considered deprecated, but it worked with self-compiled qemu on my Slackware 15.0 and appear a little bit simpler than slirp?

Seems like there's a newer VDE though? In any case, I'd like to wire some kind of networking support with the current Ethernet card stubs some time in the future.

There's a few networking options for 86box. VDE is among them.
