Remote TV

iSponsorBlockTV is working well on my local network.

The wiki states that devices don't need to be on the same network, so I tried to add a family members TV to the config file. I added the remote TV via the run main.py --setup command following the prompts, but doesn't seem to work. I don't receive any errors on my end from the CLI during setup. My TV shows "Linked Devices" as iSponsorBlockTV, but the remote TV does not.

I can ping youtube.com from the host.

host is proxmox-->debian-->docker--->iSponsorBlockTV.

Not really sure what system-wide proxy does, but I have tried both y/n.

Any thoughts on this configuration or why it isn't working?

Hi there, sometimes the TV doesn't show iSponsorBlockTV as a "Linked Device". I'd just play a video on the remote TV and see if it appears in the logs.
Since everything happens via YouTube and not using the local network, there shouldn't be any difference between a local and remote device.
Please check that the config file has all the TVs you expect to be there
