Android Scroll Bar does not turn off when I check the setting.

The scroll on the right and bottom get in the way too much, and scrolls when I don't want it to.
The hide scroll bar setting does not work. It works on the browser version but not for the android APK.

Are you toggling the wrong setting? To hide the scroll bars on the canvas, the setting is here:

The "hide scroll bars" setting above only pertains to elements with kinetic scrolling, the canvas isn't one of those.

That is the one I toggled. It was off on my old phone, but now it just won't turn off with my new phone.

I'm not able to make this happen on any of my devices. Can you check which version of Drawpile you are using? Help → About Drawpile shows you. And ideally, attach screenshots or a video showing the settings you have and what the canvas looks like.
