Question

How can I test readings from devices connected to my LwM2M gateway?

Object 25 shows all resources populated and there are two devices connected.

I’m trying to read the Object 3 resources for the iot1 device.

Sorry but there is nothing like this for now.

The summary of the current situation arround Gateway feature in Leshan is :

1. Gateway is a LWM2M v1.2.x feature.
2. Leshan 2.0.0 which is in development target LWM2M v1.1.x
3. Julien did some work to partial support of Gateway support at server side. (see his article and this issue)

Until recently, I was considering that out of scope of Leshan 2.0.0.
But there is more and more users asking for it, so I will maybe begin to reconsider that.

Could you provide me some context about what you need that ?
The use case ? if this is for prototying, testing or you have a real/production use case in mind ?

O resumo da situação atual em torno do recurso Gateway em Leshan é:

1. Gateway é um recurso do LWM2M v1.2.x.

Yes. In this case, I have energy meters connected to solar panels. I have a device that connects to them and performs unit measurements per panel, and they are controlled via a server, for example in terms of generation, angle adjustment, or even remote cleaning. However, this causes many network issues because it covers a wide area. I have the option of replacing the panel with a simpler one and connecting it via serial to a gateway I am building. This way, I would have specific concentrators that would help me modularize the network.

I saw the comment about hacking the Leshan server to send some commands with the prefix of the devices connected to the gateway, exploiting the root with the LINK in M17. I managed to do it in a few hours, but it turned out ugly — functional, but terrible. So I came here to see if there are any plans for this.

If it were implemented in both, I would be happy, since I’m only using them as clients on some ESP32 boards.
I want to use a Raspberry Pi to act as a gateway and receive the connections from the ESPs, so I’m starting the gateway implementation.
