How can a Rails Adapter be implemented for pglite? That would be great for testing!

Would love an answer to this. We currently use SQLite for some of our CI pipeline, but Postgres in production and development. Would love to substitute the SQLite places for PGLite.

Did not write any Ruby for a while, but method would be the same as Python. Integrate https://github.com/bytecodealliance/wasmtime-rb and make it run pglite.wasi and use libpglite wasm API.

nb: for good results, you will need a wire encoder. ie don't use the repl interface : this one may be easy to use but it is not efficient. You will want to pipeline queries.

If you are familiar with python go directly read https://github.com/electric-sql/pglite-bindings/blob/main/17.x/pglite-wasi-gateway.py which demonstrate how to run REPL+socket server(tcp/unix) directly from wasmtime engine.

I'm only just seeing this! Thanks for the response @pmp-p. I'm going to give this a shot in a couple weeks and will circle back with how it goes.
