I wouldn't use the -q2bsp switch unless the map is also using the Quake II format. The Quake II format adds content flags and surface flags, one of which is for sky. Quake (1) maps rely on sky being identified by a texture name starting with "sky" which you appear to have from your file. |

Hi, im making a game using trenchbroom and EricW Tools for mapping. Currently im making a map where i need sun light to illuminate a lot of things in the area. The problem is, whatever i do, compile tools do not recognize sky texture as a light source. I have tried multiple worldspawn and compile flags, but nothing works. I tried other maps from other people including official quake maps, the only difference being that skybrush faces in those maps have no light info on them. But none of them illuminate anything else.

map and the flags:
-q2bsp(for colored lighting, idk if important)-bounce 2-minlight 0.05other flags are in the worldspawn
