Orange PI Zero 2W Compatibility

I would like to build my pwnagotchi, but in my country the Raspberry PI Zero is quite expensive and not very powerful, so I have been thinking about building it using the Orange PI Zero 2W, which I believe offers me more power and a better price. So I was wondering if pwnagotchi is fully compatible with this hardware or if it is necessary to use a Raspberry PI, so that I don't waste money buying hardware that may not be compatible.

Also, I couldn't find much information about people who have used Orange PI as the core of the project.

The wifi adapter of the orange pi does not support monitor mode so you would need to usb a usb wifi adapter.
