In this short study, we will try to understand the evolution of characters in fantasy novels throughout the 19th, 20th, and 21st centuries in French literature. To do this, we will analyze the adjectives and verbs used within a corpus of annotated novel characters, using NLP methods such as the FlauBERT embedding model.
