Pomodoro is stopped when my PC wakes up from sleep mode instead of active before sleep

Issue Summary

I have a line in crontab to put my PC into sleep mode every night.
Pomodoro is active before my PC goes into sleep mode.
Bu when I wake up my PC in the morning, I have to press the start button in Pomodoro.
Somedays I forget and do not use Pomodoro.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Start Pomodoro
2. Put your PC into sleep mode
3. Wake up your PC and look at Pomodoro : it is stopped

Expected Behavior

When my PC wakes up from sleep, Pomodoro should be active : the countdown should be working, not static at 25.00.

Sounds like a bug... It should be fixed in wip/gtk4 branch - i revamped the handling of suspension thoroughly there.

The intended behaviour is to reset the timer after 1h of inactivity. Rationale for this is that you should start Pomodoro with intention. I'd like to introduce reminders to start the timer though. The activity detection necessary for this would be desktop specific. It may take longer to support KDE - but I see that KWin exposes active window data via D-Bus, so it seems doable.

Maybe you could add a setting for people who want Pomodoro to be active permanently ?

I sometimes also put my PC to sleep several times in a day, and with all the windows open I do not necessarily think of activating Pomodoro again because I do not see the Pomodoro window. Basically I just would like Pomodoro to be a start once and never have to think about it again kind of app.

Ideally it would be cool if Pomodoro had the power to stop any video/music file playing, because right now if a youtube video is playing and Pomodoro tells me to start a pause, I have to move the mouse to stop the video, which makes the screen alert go away. But it is probably impossible, or very difficult. Maybe Pomodoro could be granted by the user a sudo authorization to disable all sounds, and not just the bird soundtrack from Pomodoro ?

Or maybe the Pomodoro pause screen could take over again as long as the pause is active if I stop moving my mouse for 5 seconds after I stopped the youtube video or audio file that was playing ?

I'm curious if GNOME Wellbeing tool reminders does the job for you? Is there still a need to implement more health oriented behaviour to Pomodoro, as opposed to productivity-focused behaviour.

I use Pomodoro inside KDE Plasma, so I do not know anything about GNOME Wellbeing. :)
