Question: move window into quarter tiling via keyboard

I generally prefer quarter tiling, but I sometimes end up in a position where I have 3 or more tall windows. This usually happens after moving a window between workspaces, but it sometimes happens when I close a window. I can easily move windows back into quarters using the mouse, but I can never do this with the keyboard. Moving a window left or right works fine, but I originally thought that up/down would force it into a quarter, but it does nothing. Is there another key combination I should use instead?

You can use the Super + v (vertical split) and Super + z (horizontal split) to create a container around the window then move the window that you'd like beside it.
