Description
It seems that we are exporting pretty much any function (exportPattern("^[[:alpha:]]+"), or irls_*cpp_*). Any reason to export these internal functions?
We were not consistent with the naming of the internal functions. But now with the export_*-suite we moved away from the the camelCase notion that we brought in with version 2.x.
