Add a scrolling text wrap mode

Currently, the text wrap modes that exist truncate or wrap text. It would be nice to have a mode that makes text scroll like a marquee when it's too long, for example for song titles.

Is it possible to construct a solution with the existing API?

It is possible but unnecessarily difficult

I'd like to see a text wrap mode or some other API to easily allow scrolling text in labels, buttons, etc. when the text exceeds the size of the widget.

Scrolling is not a wrap mode - it is a feature. You can put your long label inside a scroll container and animate the offset when the text is too long.

Combining text wrap with all the properties of animation required to time the scroll would likely be a messy mix of concerns.
