First of all, thank you for creating this lovely project!

Am working on my own Website and was thinking of adding my Steam Profile in some way to it, and this was the cleanest and best way - so a big thanks for just that!

But I got to be honest, after a while I forked your project since I needed some changes to its design, which I couldn't do previously due to the limitations of the iframe.

I've changed a few things, will update the README and the assets in a few days as well to use my own ones, but keeping the notice and the information about this being a fork of your project, so maybe take a look in a week or two <3

Thank you for liking this project of mine 🥇

Unfortunately, the Glitch platform where I hosted the backend for project will be shutdown on July 8th, 2025.
Your fork will stop working after the service is terminated.

I have migrated my project to another platform, Vercel.
If you would like to use it, please pull my code from the master branch. Or, just change the corsHost variable inside index.html.

Disclaimer: Vercel's response time is much slower than Glitch on uncached requests.
I am looking for a way to speed things up but have not found any easy way.

I have also provided the CORS proxy code in the backend folder if you want to host it yourself.

Thank you for going out of your way and letting me know about this impactful change!

I would've wondered why it wouldn't work probably but that makes things far easier to manage!
I will keep an eye out of how to host it myself if you already provide the way for us to do so, for now I'll update the corsHost to the new link.

About the speed, how much does it actually impact the project, is it just not loading for a while when you freshly open a website with the steam mini profile or is it not updating when you start a game //

It will take a while to load when you first open a website.

I also added 60 seconds caching on Vercel in order to keep usage within the free tier limit. After you start a game, your profile should be updated within 1 minute.
