You will probably need to Build from source for some time. There are first steps into making the Generator a dotnet Tool which is available via nuget. The Generator tool would include all default Gir files. In this way you could give it an arbitrary Gir file and it could resolve all types because it includes GLib, GObject and so on. Until this is done you will need to build the generator from source. Actually I'm not sure what is needed to make this work. It could be the case, that only publishing to Nuget is missing. The corresponding issue is #1078 If you are interested we can try to make this work. Friday is now the 2nd project which is interested in a dotnet tool. |

I am planning to depend on this library and currently have to build it from source and include the dlls into my projects, bit messy 😄 (See frida/frida-clr#20)
What is the release schedule of gir.core like? Any chance we can get a
0.6.4or0.7.0-preview.2?With #1290 being merged it would be really useful to us, I would prefer to depend on the nuget as this makes distribution easier.
