Hi, title says it all. I've gone round and round with Microsoft and our firewall team. We use Azure DevOps Server 2020 (this is the on-prem install). It is very odd but from our VDI (Virtual Desktop Interface) I have no problem cloning repos from the mentioned location. But, when I try it on my laptop, to the same source, it always fails with "authentication failure" The problem is that it simply never asks for authentication. Just never shows the prompt. I can clone from GitHub fine. I've tried every method you can imagine, Git GUI, GIT BASH, all methods in VS Code and Visual Studio 2022 and simple command line. Nothing prompts for the password. Firewall team is certain at this point that it is not networking. Something with the GIT stack they say. But I have the exact same install on both VDI and laptop. The only large difference is that the laptop is using VPN to access company resources. Git is version 2.52. VSCode and VS 2022 are latest. May be cert related but I've tried turning of the SSL check. In fact, I can't think of much I haven't tried. Any suggestions welcome.
Thanks,
Jerry
