Hello there! I am also interested in Markdown format, so the thing I am struggle with is a Table the can scroll horizontaly with a maxWidth property for cells. How about to support this feature in a Textual?

Good news, looks like human agents still ship features 😄

This is now supported in Textual 0.3.0. The new overflow table style lets wide tables scroll horizontally instead of squeezing content: OverflowTableStyle.swift
