as i have already working with the jaxprivacy package, i have pretty infrmation to answer your question. usually, google open source projects stick to 4 spaces which is PEP 8 so they play nicely with the rest of the python world, the 2 space rule is mostly for their internal mono repo also known as copybara, but for public tools like this, standard python formatting is preferred to encourage contributions |

official pylint says: "The internal Google style guide mandates 2 spaces. Google's externaly-published style guide says 4, consistent with PEP 8."
may i ask why did you choose to stick with 4 spaces?
