Mostly a cosmetic issue ... in the How to build page for MacOS the description in the What To DO When It Fails under Bzip2, PCRE, and Zlib references Windows. This is NOT a Windows build.

I hope you realize that the version of Hercules you are submitting a GitHub Issue comment on, is a version of Hercules that has been obsolete for over 9 years now, yes? (last release was in 2016)

As confirmed by Wikipedia, the current (actively maintained) version of Hercules is the "SDL Hercules 4.x Hyperion" version of Hercules, at:
