I am working with a custom made $file.m3u and when I can open it in mpv with However, when I try to open it with the Return key, it opens in nvim. I assume it's because all $file.m3u is, is a text file with .m3u as an extension instead. I saw the solution for this was to include the How can I have my cake and eat it too? Thank you 🙏🏾 🙏🏾 🙏🏾 🙏🏾 |

So this seems to have been fixed by swapping the
-eflag for-Ewhen launching nnn.This option is specified by the detached text guide on the wiki but may be a temporary measure to bypass xdg-opener either while the user sets it up properly or switches to something like nuke.
We tried using
.m3u,.m3u8and.plsfiles. We tried adding'#EXTM3U'to the header of each file created all to no avail. When I swapped the-eoption for-Ethe files opened in mpv as desired.If you've been using
-e, make sure to configure your openwith settings with o/^O from within nnn or with your opener of choice.Big thank you to @N-R-K and @furq from #mpv for the help!
