Exceeding execution resource limits does not store the error

If you hit an execution resource limit (e.g. run out of memory), then you are briefly shown a message in the evaluation box and then the page reloads and it appears as if you never evaluated the solution at all. This can be quite confusing. It would be nice if the error was stored somewhere and shown to the user in the evaluation report.

Thank you for the report. I’ve added this request to the VPL TODO list.

Addressing this issue will likely require changes in the VPL Jail Server, since execution resource limit errors are currently handled at that level and not persisted in the evaluation report. I agree that the current behavior can be confusing for users, and improving the feedback in this case makes sense.
