This issue is here as a discussion point for questions around expenses, funding and donations.

Current expenses:
- Domain Name: ~$9/year. Currently paid through May 2030.
- Hosting/Infrastructure: $0/year. Currently free through GitHub as an open source project.
- Administration: ???? I know I've spent at least a couple of hours on this and I wouldn't mind being reimbursed.
Possible future expenses:
- Domain Name.
- Hosting/Infrastructure.
- Administration.
- Legal representation. Probably won't be needed, but you can't be sure with IP trolls out there.
- Security. See above.
- Organizational representation. It would be really cool to get this domain/use made into an IETF standard like example.com. That way it's use could be permanently guaranteed without having to keep funding it every decade or so.
Current payment channels:
- None.
Possible future payment channels
- I may set up an opencollective.com collective to collect money for the project.
- I may set up some really basic adds on the root web page.
- I will probably not ever put any crypto mining javascript on the root page, But if I do, it will be really obvious and fully disclosed.
