Hi Jürgen,
thanks for publishing the editor component. When I install version 1.0.1 I get the following message when stating the application:

Running project in development mode with no access to folder 'C:\Users\juergen\IdeaProjects\vaadin-trix-editor'.

I had a look at the files in the jar and found a few references to your user directory in VAADIN/config/flow-build-info.json which seem to prevent the component from working correctly.

Edit: Version 1.0.0 works well. Seems that the VAADIN folder should just be removed from the release.
