unable to sync with EH favourite even with a "Sync Completed!" message

Steps to reproduce

1. enabled ExHentai in setting, uploaded a EH profile
2. try webview in EH to check if the favourite is fine
3. start sync with EH in Tachiyomi: library > three dots menu > sync EH favourite

Expected behavior

my favourites manga should be shown in library

Actual behavior

The message "Sync Completed" appeared almost immediately after clicking "sync EH favourite"
But no manga is shown.

• I confirmed I have favourited manga in E-hentai favouriteI confirmed I have favourited manga in E-hentai favourite
• I can successfully access my favourite list in webview of E-hentai in TachiyomiSY
• I don't use ExHentai, and I cannot log in to it, only E-hentai

Pretty sure the "Sync Completed" you're seeing is from the Library Sync feature (More > Data & Storage > Sync) rather than EH favorites which should take a while since it's heavily rate-limited

I also think so, but I'm clicking in Library tab > three dots menu > Sync EH favourites
How can I troubleshoot this issue?

Library Sync runs before every Library Update to avoid desyncing of local and remote data.
It would seem EH Favorites Sync also shares that trait.

IIRC (haven't used it in years) Favorites Sync does have a Notification with progress bar. You might have to Force Sync State Reset under the EH settings

Just tried clicking "Force Sync State Reset" before syncing, and also tried toggle on/off "Ignore sync errors when possible" before syncing. And also tried cleaning app cache before syncing. But none of it works.
Do I need to be able to login ExHentai for this feature to work? I cannot login to ExHentai, and I'm expecting this feature sync E-hentai favourites
