Description
Note: I believe Feedly does this if looking for a reference
Currently as you read articles (whether it is auto read as you scroll or manually/actually reading the articles) in the
Alltab, the read article remain in the view (not highlighted). While this is a useful feature to save the read articles in case you want to read them again or a miss read as you scroll through. The issue becomes as you scroll up or down depending how many articles you have, it may take a while to get back to where you were (meaning it may take you a while to get back to an unread article)
Suggested solution
When you re click the 'All` tab it should only show unread articles. (Can also apply to 'today' tab)
To see read articles you can select the category or the specific feed in the category (to filter down more)
From a design perspective when seeing unread and read articles under categories, can provide the option to group by unread articles first (if a person wants to read a category) or sort by newest if a person want to see all articles read and unread in the correct timeline/ timeframe
By default I think it makes sense to group by unread
Thanks for reading!
