Extension doesn't recognize extracted data that is stored in the browser. #168

The extracted data is stored in the browser and is supposed to persist indefinitely unless it’s specifically deleted. I haven’t been using the extension gallery lately, only the standalone gallery that I upload online, so I didn’t realize this has likely been happening since the last release in January (~6 months ago), if not even earlier.

Since you can access the gallery via the URL it redirects you to after extraction, even after closing the browser, it’s clear the data is still there, the extension just doesn’t seem to recognize it.

  • When you start a new extraction, it has no idea that any data was previously extracted, so every extraction is treated as a full extraction.
  • All links to the gallery are disabled.

This probably isn’t a huge issue if you have roughly 100–200 books, but when you have over 500, just opening the extension gallery becomes a chore. Updating new purchases also takes a long time.
