would we be able to scrape the opening and closing odds from this?, could you add this feature to it?

Yes, this is already possible 🙂
There’s a CLI argument you can use to trigger the history modal scraping, it will extract the opening odds.
The closing odds correspond to the ones displayed directly on the page.

If you want to get both the opening odds and the closing odds, you just need to add the flag: --scrape_odds_history

Here is and example command:

uv run python src/main.py scrape_historic \
  --sport football \
  --league england-premier-league \
  --season 2022-2023 \
  --markets 1x2 \
  --scrape_odds_history \
  --file_path epl_with_history.json

• The closing odds are the ones displayed directly on the page
• The opening odds (and intermediate moves, if available) will be extracted from the history modal when you use the flag above ✅
