tc39 Numbers with precision and a unit for JavaScript

Thanks for posting. I took a quick look. Since in this proposal, all of the hard stuff has been postponed to a different proposal, and the proposed Amount is just a semantics-free combination of a number and a string (and a precision), I didn't have much to say -- I did file one issue about the semantics of an Amount with undefined unit property. Jos may of course have further thoughts,

you also may want to look at tc39/proposal-amount#43 as they are creating examples slides of prior art, with Mathjs being the sole prior art in the Javascript world.
