Parallel Setup and Energy Values

While Parallel is picked up both in local and web, it looks like only the values for the master inverter are listed. Currently I'm using helpers to combine the values for both inverters but was wondering if the parallel values should reflect the combination of both inverter values?

Thanks for reporting this. We've verified that parallel group aggregation is working correctly in our test environment — all power and energy sensors properly sum across both inverters (FlexBOSS21 + 18kPV in our case).

To help diagnose your specific setup, could you share:

1. Which sensors appear to show only master values? (e.g., power, energy, battery, all of them?)
2. Your device setup — how many inverters, which models, and do you have a GridBOSS?
3. Connection mode — are you using Local (Modbus/Dongle), Cloud, or Hybrid?
4. A screenshot of the parallel group entity values alongside the per-inverter values, so we can compare

If you're comfortable enabling debug logging, this would also help:

1. Go to Settings → Devices & Services → EG4 Web Monitor → Enable debug logging
2. Wait for 1-2 poll cycles (~30 seconds)
3. Check the logs for lines like:

   LOCAL: Parallel group A member <serial>: charge=..., discharge=..., pv=..., soc=...
   LOCAL: Parallel group A battery aggregation: charge=..., discharge=..., net=...
   

   These new debug lines (added in the latest commit) show exactly what each inverter contributes to the parallel group totals.

Also note: commit 71df77a just pushed fixes a sign convention bug for parallel_battery_power in LOCAL mode — if you update, you'll get both the fix and the new diagnostic logging.

We just released v3.2.0-beta.28 which includes several fixes for parallel group data aggregation:

• Parallel group sensors now aggregate across all member inverters — power, energy, battery SOC/voltage/count/current are all summed or averaged from both inverters (not just the master)
• New parallel_battery_current sensor — sums battery current across member inverters
• Battery count override — when the cloud API returns 0 batteries, the correct count from local BMS data is now used
• Transport-exclusive sensor overlay — hybrid mode now exposes Modbus-only sensors (temperature, grid current, battery current) that were previously missing

Could you try upgrading to beta.28 and check if your parallel group values now reflect the combined data from both inverters? If you're still seeing only master inverter values, it would be helpful to know:

1. Which connection mode you're using (cloud, local, or hybrid)
2. Which specific sensors are still showing single-inverter values
