Binding to clear query and go to pos

Let's say there are 10 items in fzf list. If I start fzf with --bind='load:pos(3)', fzf will focus on the third item in the list.

However, I also need a keybind to clear the query and reselect the third item on resulting full list (as if I restarted fzf). This is easy enough if I want to select the first item:

--bind='alt-x:clear-query+first'

but how to do what for custom pos like 3? The obvious solution:

--bind='alt-x:clear-query+pos(3)'

doesn't work.

As a last resort I can just restart fzf, but I'm hoping for a more efficient solution.

It turns out it's there in the manual:

# Put the cursor on the second item when the query string is empty
# * Note that you can't use 'change' event in this case because the second position may not be available
fzf --sync --bind 'result:transform:[[ -z {q} ]] && echo "pos(2)"'
