bug: Failed to update managedFields error

Describe the bug

When running kube-bind e2e-test we use kcp. And kcp prints this:

[SHOULD NOT HAPPEN] - If something could happen, it will happen :D need to find out where this is coming from and why.

Steps To Reproduce

1. check out kube-bind https://github.com/kube-bind/kube-bind/
2. Run make test-e2e
3. check github.com/kube-bind/kube-bind/.kcp/kcp.log while tests are running (its gc after it runs successfully)

Expected Behaviour

Thins should not be happening as per logs :D
