Domain -IP management

I'm looking at using listmonk to send transactional as well as marketing emails on behalf of clients. I'd mostly use the API of listmonk for this but would want to assign domains to different ip pools. Is this at all possible, namely specifying either which ip to use by a tag or have it know which ip to use by domain?

By domain, do you mean SMTPs? If yes, it's possible to configure multiple SMTPs and attach them to different campaigns.
