Playback of events in Camera Grid view is low-res/sub stream

Not sure if this is a bug or something that can be configured, but I use hi-res feeds for everything apart from motion/object detection. When I select an individual camera by clicking the snapshot, the live feed is hi-res and I can scrub through events in hi-res too.

However, when I am on the Camera Grid, I get different behavior. While the live view is also hi-res, as soon as I click on an event, the feed drops to low-res (sub stream) to show me the event. This is different than the behavior on the Playback screen where I can choose the quality of the feed by clicking the small cog in the bottom right of the feed itself.

Is there a way to fix this? Either default it to the same quality as the live view, or give us the option by adding the same cog that you have on the Playback screen?

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to Camera Grid
2. Observe feed in hi-res (main stream)
3. Click an event
4. Watch feed immediately degrade to low-res (sub stream)

Expected behavior
Either default to the same quality as live view, or provide a cog to give same funtionality as Playback screen.

this is normal and intended. the playback quality is optimized for the video player size on your screen. playing 16 4k streams in a grid would absolutely demolish your performance and also wifi bandwidth.

you can observe adaptive bitrate upgrading/downgrading the stream being used on the fly by resizing your browser window.

I actually have four streams in this grid and they are only 2K each.

Then I clicked on the "cat" event to watch my neighbors cat go on his nightly outing, and the feed drops to low-res:

I would ike it to stay in hi-res, or have the ability to control it...

I'm watching on a 13-inch Macbook Air with Retina Display.

if you click the camera in the grid to expand it will switch to high res mode.

Thanks... Much appreciated. It would be ideal if this were configurable somehow. For my personal setup, I never want to see low res footage as I'm always on my local network and only have 4-5 cams.
