Browser support

The only thing that might be holding back against browser support is the GRPC/Protobuf stuff. I haven't really looked into it all that much. I think I have chosen options which are native JS but they may be "native JS relying on node-specific services". I believe there exists a browser-based grpc client and so it should be possible.

Testing will be needed and will probably the bigger challenge.

FYI, I investigated this a while back, and there is no simple GRPC solution for browser support 😢. Most solutions involve some kind of proxy server to translate between GRPC and REST. These proxy servers can be developed automatically, and may be nice solutions. We could refer to one and document how it should be used.
