Notably, the specific instructions can be changed within the google docs. The changes are below are intended to make it easier to complete Volunteer Packet. Ideas to improve always welcome!

These are some of the most commonly used websites for communication, data access, and training in the lab. If you need access, contact Dr. Lemas (djlemas@ufl.edu).

Confluence Page: Email Dr. Lemas with your name and UFID to request access. Once approved, log in with your Gatorlink username and password.
Create RedCap Account: Sign up here to access project data.
UF IRB: Use this link to complete your IRB approvals.
MyUFL Learning: Access training modules and other UF resources.
Confidentiality Statement: Complete this form to agree to the health information privacy policy.
Getting Started on Github: Instructions for setting up a GitHub account and accessing lab repositories.
UF VPN: Follow these instructions to install the VPN on your computer. You’ll need the VPN to access restricted websites, including the SHARE Drive.
SHARE Drive: Use this to access the lab’s shared drive remotely. Make sure you have the necessary permissions before logging in.

Here are additional instructions we received from HOBI HR on things that were missing. Can we modify the document(s) to make sure that our new batch of students complete these as well.

Thank you for this information. It contains nearly all the information we need. You have a shared folder in Dropbox where I have moved these documents. Here are the full instructions and the missing pieces are highlighted.

Complete trainings in myTraining and upload the certificate of completion or a screenshot of the training transcripts.

HIPAA & Privacy Training (PRV800)
General Compliance Training (PBC810)
FERPA Training (PRV802) *Only required for those with access to student data.
Copy of government-issued ID, i.e., Driver’s License (if Foreign National, then Gator1 Card or passport).
Work authorization documentation is required for foreign nationals: i.e., forms I-94, I-20, DS-2019, and/or EAD (front and back).
