Bug description

My setup: 32GB memory, swap disabled.

At work, I start very memory consuming apps (IntelliJ...) and lock the screen when I leave.

Sometimes, when I come back I get a "Something went wrong with the screensaver." screen.
But today, someone was able to access my session without entering the password after I locked it (and without using "cinnamon-unlock-desktop" command): the screen was off (sleep mode), it just came back on to an unlocked desktop.

After re-locking it a "something went wrong with the screensaver" message was shown, the only thing that was needed was to do Ctrl+Alt+F1 to go to a TTY (without logging-in in the TTY), and then Ctrl+Alt+F7 and the screen was unlocked.
I retried a few times because I couldn't believe my eyes: Lock the screen => see the "something went wrong with the screensaver" screen, Ctrl+Alt+F1, Ctrl+Alt+F7, unlocked...

This is a very serious issue.

I have several crashes reports mentioning /usr/libexec/cinnamon-screensaver/cs-backup-locker, I attached one of them.

I have earlyoom installed, to kill processes which uses too much memory before the system goes haywire.

Steps to reproduce

Lock the screen and leave the PC with memory almost full (it might help if some app have a memory leak, idk).

Expected behavior

When the screen is locked, it must remain locked...
