T-Beam KISS TNC tests - What am I doing wrong? #897

I have successfully flashed two T-Beam 868Mhz boards with RNode firmware and configured both as KISS TNCs. I have also configured the KISS interface on Sideband and carried out basic Tx and Rx tests over RF and all appears in order. However, when trying to use the boards with any of the typical amateur radio terminal programs QTTerm, BPQ, KISSET etc I cannot make a connection between the 2 boards as the LoRa modules are not transmitting in response to commands sent from the terminal? My last experiments with Packet Radio were a couple of years ago, although I feel like I basically know what I'm doing, I have a sneaking suspicion that I'm missing something very obvious? All suggestions gratefully received. |

So, I've made some progress in getting the boards to work with Pinpoint APRS on Windows but not with Xastir or QTTerm on Debian? |

Well the problem turned out to be exactly the type of schoolboy error that I suspected, which was twofold:))
@markqvist many thanks for this amazing development and your detailed guides and manuals, you've put an enormous amount of effort and consideration into this project! |
