Verification timeout with Element X #292
Description
On tuwunel v1.5.0 with almost default configuration (except server_name, unix_socket_path, and well_knowns), I can't get the emoji verification process to complete without issue with Element X.
To reproduce:
- Create 2 users on a fresh new tuwunel instance, one connected with Element Web, the other one with Element X
- Create a DM room between the 2
- Start verification (from either users)
- Complete the verification process
- Notice one client displays the green shield confirmation, but the other one is waiting indefinitely (sometimes Element X, sometimes Element Web)
If restarting the hanging client, both users seems properly verified.
It works fine with Fluffychat instead of Element X, or with synapse instead of tuwunel.
