Blocked / reconnect channels not visible in OpenHAB 'things'

Hopefully you can advise as to whether this is indeed a bug or user error.

I am running:

• openhab release build 2.5.4 with unifi bundle 2.5.4.
• unifi cloud key 5.12.66 (latest as of today)
• connection with super admin

The connection from openhab to the cloud key is fine and everything else updates as expected. Items pull all the data on a regular interval as expected and display in the sitemap.

The only problem - the blocked and reconnect channels are completely missing from all wireless clients (openhab 'things'). Is there an obvious setting or something else I'm missing here or an incompatibility with the cloud key? Why don't my openhab things have these channels visible?

Any ideas?
