I use the Tsavorite part of garnet as a replacement for MS FASTER and for that storage engine the recommendation has been to cache the faster/tsavorite sessions somewhere and reuse them. See e.g. microsoft/FASTER#902 for discussions.
Is that still the case with the rewrite of the engine in 2.0?
