Looking at the controls in the WinUI 3 Gallery, "popups" either get dismissed when their parent loses focus or they follow the window such as with the Flyout control.

I couldn't find any that get left behind. Provide more context for your issue.

@kmgallahan Did you re-build WinUI 3 Gallery using Windows App SDK 1.7 preview? This is a regression with Windows App SDK 1.7 preview 1, it does not reproduce in Windows App SDK 1.6

@MattGuerrette The original title and report didn't mention this as being a regression, so the WASDK version didn't seem relevant.

If it is a regression then that should be mentioned since it should result in a faster fix.

Yes, I am currently using WASDK 1.7 preview1 for testing, and there is no problem with WASDK 1.6 corresponding to winui 3 gallery
