Hi, Marga. Yes, Copilot says it's a classic format to teams that launch classic teams (it doesn't matter if you have new teams installed) and also inform that it's common on links in Moodle plugins related to M365.
It's time to improve this plugin.
We're on Moodle 4.5 and plugin version 4.5.5

Technically, block_microsoft get this URL from Graph API calls to the get team API, which returns a team resource type. webUrl is one of the properties of the resource type, and I confirm that it contains link in this format.

I have also tried to use the "Copy link" action in the teams menu, and it gives me the same link.

Could you confirm how the new links look like, and how to get them?

unluckily no, by now.
@minaraja3 , maybe it's happening because users have old teams installed and the system is choosing it first to open the link.
