attaching tab is difficult

its 2025 why such trivial UI functionality is so broken? if scripting the UI is so difficult at least give button to attach to existing window. this small drop target without any feedback, other than some cursor icon change + lag is at unacceptable level...
Only chrome does tabs right in this world.
The whole header should be interactive with tabs, not just existing tabs, and give some threshold margin for attach/detatch so it pops/snaps. I dont want to think about it and aim pixel for pixel.
The swap should happen when starting dragging over other tab, not when reaching opposite half.
Sometimes it animate translate, sometimes instant. Doesn't matter but weird.

Yep, agreed, it's pretty annoying. It's somewhat difficult to make it better using our UI toolkit though. We'll keep it in mind.
