GIF question about duplicate frames

@mifi Is editly currently smart enough to produce GIFs that detect duplicate frames and instead make the previous frame last longer to compensate?

(If so, I would really like to see this feature for APNGs as well)

i doubt so. it uses ffmpeg so it depends on how ffmpeg gif output works
