Underlying code improvements

When I began working on Storylines, I did not have much experience, so the code improved as I went on with my learning journey. And now I want to take all the things that I learned and apply them to the app as a whole, so it is easier for me to work on new features or for anyone to hop in and start coding. But this process will take time.
