I have some save files that are set in specific root locations. I've added the directory to them but they don't show up when I refresh the search. |

Could you give me some more information? What's one of the games you're having the issue with, and which roots have you configured? If you haven't already, I'd recommend reading the documentation about roots: https://github.com/mtkennerly/ludusavi/blob/master/docs%2Fhelp%2Froots.md |

Sorry if I'm asking an already answered question. I have save file for some games in other locations than where the app is searching. I especially noticed this when it backed up some the wrong folders for some games entirely; some only containing 'usersettings'. I'm assigned the new folders as roots but they still don't get scanned or show up when i press 'Preview' again. |

What are some of the specific games? I need to know their titles so I can double check the expected save locations. Please share a screenshot of the roots you've configured so I can double check those as well. |

Ohhhh... Assassin's Creed Origins The strange thing is that I can't actually find the save files for AC Valhalla but it works fine when I reinstall the game. AC Syndicate, Unity and Black Flag completely disappear though when I uninstall. Hence my desire to use your tool. AC Origins can be found in uPlay in the Public Document of the Public user. The Far Crys are missing entirely. Can't find them even when I tried. Except for Far Cry 5. The root is in uPlay in the Public Document of the Public user. The Rockstar Games are in an emulated root. Ah, I see the issue now. Those appear to be cracked versions of the games, which may use different/non-standard save locations. Ludusavi doesn't have any built-in support for cracked games, and to avoid any legal liability, that's not something I'd be willing to add. Ludusavi does let you add custom game entries and extra manifests, but you'd be responsible for finding or creating those. |
