Attempting to open file manager segfaults (Linux)

As the title states, using the 'Load Song' or 'Add Song' buttons (aka attempting to open a file manager) segfaults. I'm on Arch Linux, only have thunar from my knowledge, and an earlier version reproduced the same error (version tested 20240101). Used the appimage for both.

Kernel: 6.18.3-arch1-1
WM: i3 (X11)
CPU: Ryzen 7 5700X

update: I can probably confirm it's not a missing file manager? Installed nautilus and confirmed it works, but still segfaults in the program in the same places (also just noticed BUILD.md lists Ubuntu compatibility only but I might be able to provide a patch? I can't build it, there are too many errors that I can't figure out how to fix). FLTK also only gives very out of date file managers, it just happens nautilus is the only one still used today.

Loading via drag and drop does work, I can use batch convert to convert from con->pkg and whatever else, but anything else that requires saving with the file manager won't work.
