[Question] Why are the settings confusing?

This is what I find confusing:

1. In the context menu, Shuffle can be toggled on, while in the extension settings, its shown off.
2. While shuffle and "always show new image" in context menu are on, you do not shuffle. You simply show the latest image. Never an image from the "past". This is not shuffling.. the toggles should reflect that.
3. The Play button shows: >| but when I click it nothing happens, how am I supposed to know what this button does? Does it simply fast forward to the latest? But what if I am already on the latest?
4. "Image shuffle only UHD resolutions" Bing always gives UHD resolution right? So what is this for? And also, does it only work when shuffle is enabled? But what if Shuffle and "Always show new image" are enabled?
5. Why is the custom 'shuffle' interval in the Debug section, while the drop-down for shuffle interval is in the main settings tab?

Perhaps the word "shuffle" sometimes means "refresh" ? Or go-to-current?

Sorry for these questions, I love your addon I use it and install it by default for everyone, it is just sometimes slightly confusing or I am overthinking it (which I tend to do). Also love you added blurred & dimmed lockscreen. Great that we do not need additional extensions for that!

This is a bug, sorry. These should be synchronised.

2. While shuffle and "always show new image" in context menu are on, you do not shuffle. You simply show the latest image. Never an image from the "past". This is not shuffling.. the toggles should reflect that.

This switches to the newest image when it becomes available. Shuffle depends on the interval, so if the shuffle interval is set to less than one day it'll still shuffle. Yes, this is a bit confusing.

The control bar is meant to evoke a media player, though I appreciate that's sometimes confusing.

No, not always. This option just excludes those images from shuffle. See #202

Just a labeling issue, it's debug logging & advanced settings. The custom interval only applies when it's set on the front page of settings.

Shuffle as in pick a random image from an existing collection of images. Refresh grabs the latest list of images from Bing (if there are any).

Thanks appreciate the feedback, I've added functionality over time and it's not always the cleanest UI as a result. I run it on all my Linux machines but I haven't been able to spend as much time on polish as I'd like.
