[BUG] Windows installer mirthconnect-4.5.2.b363-windows-x64.exe cannot be completed

Describe the bug
Installation cannot be completed
I am using the following installer: mirthconnect-4.5.2.b363-windows-x64.exe.
During the installation process, when I reach the Select Extensions step, clicking the Next button does not trigger any action. At this point, the only available option is to cancel the installation.

To Reproduce
Setup steps (if required). Example:

1. Download mirthconnect-4.5.2.b363-windows-x64.exe
2. Run installer.

Environment (please complete the following information):

• OS: Windows 11
• Java Distribution/Version Oracle OpenJDK 25

I had the same problem with the Java SDK version. Install Java SDK 17 and uninstall 25.

Thank you for your feedback. I implemented your suggestion, and it worked as expected. I tested this with Java version 21, so it is definitely an issue with Java SDK version 25.

I think the key point here is the problem is the installer, not mirth itself. You should be able to go back to 25 after you install using java 17. I write the installer for Open Integration Engine (which is roughly the same as what you are installing here) - install4j attempts to enable the java security manager which is not allowed. You can of course not use the installer and just use the zip.
