BLAKE3 is supported by bouncycastle (https://www.bouncycastle.org/docs/docs1.5on/org/bouncycastle/crypto/digests/Blake3Digest.html), should it should be trivial to enable it in the plugin.

Unfortunately its actually slower than SHA3.

If I understand correctly, BLAKE3 relies heavily on SIMD, and that depends on the Vector API, which itself is being held up by Valhalla. So unless there's a native JNI/FFM API wrapper library we wont see this anytime soon.
