Just posting to share my fork in case anybody is interested: https://github.com/MilesCranmer/rip2. It's available on crates.io as 'rip2'.
I'm using this as a way to get better at rust, and also since rip is a tool I use regularly, I want to keep it alive and maintain it.
Here are the changes on the fork as of today:
- Windows support
- Refactoring to modern rust (building off of @StandingPadAnimations's fork)
- Test suite and coverage
- Shell completions
- Some unmerged PRs from this repo (from @tmacychen and @DanielRivasMD)
- Bug fix for FIFO files
- Bug fix for seance of large files (thanks to @JeromeSchmied)
Happy to take PRs/feature requests from anybody interested.
